The Mightiest Governor Event or MGE

The Mightiest Governor Event or MGE for short is a multiple day and multiple stage Rise of Kingdoms Event. There are 5 stages in total. This is one event that gives the huge rewards for the top ranking governors, but this will take a large time and money investment to rank on The Mightiest Governor leaderboard.

Stage 1: Train Troops

Duration: 24 hours

Description: The goal here is to train as many troops as possible during The Mightiest Governor Event.

Tips & Tricks: Start your training queue so it ends right when the event starts. Use Training Buffs to increase training speed and Troop Reserves to increase training capacity. Use Runes to help increase training speeds as well.

Stage 2: Defeat Barbarians

Duration: 24 hours

Description: The goal here is to defeat as many barbs as possible during The Mightiest Governor Event.

Tips & Tricks: Have a full Action Point (AP) queue to start. Use Lohar and your highest level Commanders. This is a good way to level up your Commanders. Action Point (AP) reduction is going to big here too so using Peace Keeping Commanders will be huge. Set your Attack to ‘Hold position after attack’ as the AP used is reduces after each attack during each trip back to your City. Use multiple attacks to each barb unit to make a quicker and easier kill. If you share the location of the barbs to others in the Alliance, this will help all of you. Attack the highest level barb possible. Level 25 Barbarians will give you 3600 points. If you get to 45,000 points, then you’ll get a prize of 105 gems.

Stage 3: Gather Resources

Duration: 24 hours

Description: The goal is to gather as many resources as possible during The Mightiest Governor Event.

Tips & Tricks: Start your gathering so it ends right when the event starts. Definitely use the Alliance Resource Center with the biggest load possible. You can camp all your Commanders outside of your City so when the event starts all of queues hit when the stage starts. Best Commanders to use here would be Joan of Arc leveraging the Fresh Recruits talent to increase max troop capacity by 3%. Sarka has the Lost Treasure skill, which increases the troop load up to 30% and Short-lived Heroine skill increases troop capacity up to 10%.

The type of Resource you gather will score you different points towards the event. Gold provides the most points than gathering other resources.

Stage 4: Increase Power

Duration: 24 hours

Description: The goal is to increase your total Power as much as possible during The Mightiest Governor Event. There 4 factors that impact Power are Buildings, Research, Training, and Commanders.

Tips & Tricks: Start upgrading your most powerful buildings and start Academy research a day or two before the stage starts so it ends right when the event starts. Speedups can be used to finish these and continue to increase total Power. Start your training queue so it ends right when the event starts and keep training throughout the stage. Not upgrading your Commanders until this stage starts could give a little edge. Upgrading Commander’s Talents, Skills and Star Level will also increase your total Power!

Stage 5: Eliminate Enemies (Kill Event)

Duration: 48 Hours

Description: The goal is to kill or severely wounding units during The Mightiest Governor Event. Please note there maybe Kingdom specific rules such as not attacking Cities. Make sure to discuss with your Alliance.

Tips & Tricks: Do not farm and gather resources during these 24 hours, you will lose a lot of troops! Discuss with other Alliances and have planned attack events and skirmishes. You can rack up the severely wounded units with an AOE Commander. Just ask an neighboring Alliance for a fight and you’ll be surprised on how many people will say yes.

The Mightiest Governor Event – Rank Rewards

Description: Is the main reason why people spend so much time on The Mightiest Governor Event. The rewards are amazing for the top players. There are two type of rewards, Stage Rankings and Overall Rankings. You’ll need to be in the top 100 to earn ‘great rewards’. Obviously the higher you rank the better the rewards.
