Question That May be Asked:
Will a king be able to decline migration applications for any of the three types of immigration features? Unfortunately at the moment for cross season immigration you cannot decline applications. Any governor who fits the criteria can migrate to your kingdom and once the 30-character quota has been met migration to the kingdom will be closed for cross season.
For same season and region the applications are yet to be discovered on whether they can be declined by the king but we know there is not limit on characters allowed to use this immigration.
For special immigration is it limited and how does it work?
As stated above special immigration is based on tokens and your kingdom will receive 1 per month. The tokens will allow for the king to accept anyone who exceed or meets the power cap and it won't be counted towards the quota however the tokens are limited to 3.
Is there a limit to migrants who use same-season immigration?
No there is no limit, as long as the governor fits the criteria and their character is not 90 days older than the kd they migrate to. They will not count towards the quota. (Quota = 30 migrants per season)
Will there be a fixed power gap initially for Governors who use same-season migration or same-region migration?
If you are not in an imperial or rising kingdom then initially the king will decide the cap for cross season immigration 48 hours before migration opens but once it's been decided it will be locked in. As for same-season and same-region migration if there is a separate power cap or if the cross-season immigration power cap affects same-season/region immigration then it is yet to be discovered.
Will this make it harder for migration to be managed? Yes it will be much more difficult as there is no way of stopping troll accounts from coming in using the cross season immigration.
IMPERIAL & RISING KINGDOMS:
All imperium and rising kingdoms will have a fixed immigration power cap. For rising kingdoms meaning the kds with a star next to their kd number on the continental list will be limited to 10M power cap for immigration. For imperium kingdoms the power cap is:
Season 2: Power cap is 15M
Season 3: Power cap is 25M
SOC: Power cap is 35M
Additional Note:
There is a Special Immigration feature which will allow for the king to accept governors who exceed the power cap. This will not be counted towards the 30 immigrants per season limit.
Special Immigration Info:
Imperial Kingdoms currently have a limit of 1 per month via a token of any player over 35M. Meaning 1 token per month is granted for any player over 35M to migrate. And these tokens can be saved up to 3.
New Immigration Feature:
Anyone can select a kingdom that is in the middle of KVK and you'll be notified when that kd is open for migration. This means you'll basically get pinged to remind you a KD your looking at migrating to is now open for you.
There are tricks around migrating more easily:
1 - Temporarily dropping power by filling your hospitals.
2 - Killing siege units (as they are not very valuable and players might have a greater power + fighting capability relation by deleting most of them) / only training T1 siege as it is less powerful and mostly poses the same capabilities.
3 - Selling Æthelflaed heads bought from the campaign store or gotten from the daily campaign chests (only recommended after expertising her)
4 - You can accumulate passports for a great cost by buying the 5$ and 10$ "new world bundle" which gives you basically 3 passports for 15$ (5$ each). After that, the price per passport starts to increase so it is recommended that you gradually accumulate around 3 passports each month if you are low spending.
Remember: No one is ever planning to migrate, but when they do, they better be prepared because migration gets progressively more costly
