ROK Clearing Fog

During the beginning stages of a kingdom you will find that all of the map is covered by fog. It is important to scout the map quickly and as much as you can to gain intel on the movements of other alliances and benefit from the caves and villages you uncover.

Scouting to clear fog is time consuming, so here's some tips for uncovering fog quickly:

Tip 1

Your scout camp is a important part to clearing fog quickly. By upgrading your scout camp you can increase the amount of scouts you can send out at one time, how much fog is cleared and the scouts march speed.

Tip 2

Instead of waiting for your scout to return to your city. Whenever your scout is finished with exploring the area, you can command them to start exploring other areas by selecting on the fog that you want to direct them.

Tip 3

I know it can be tempting to use Kingdom Map the moment you have your hands on them. But I highly recommend you to just hold on to them. You can convert to 5 min speed ups once you have cleared 100% fog

Tip 4

Every time you join a new alliance, a small portion of the fog is lifted around cities that belong to that alliance. Once fog is lifted use your scouts to uncover objects within that area. e.g. caves, villages or cities. In doing so the scouts clear the fog path leading up to that object. By join a few alliances, this will help you clear fog quickly.

Note:**Jumpers/Sleepers get 2x of the rewards if they scout 100% in both kingdoms.
