Age of Origins Advanced Guide
Alliance Rules & Guidelines in Age of Origins
Officers Overview in Age of Origins
Officers are the bread and butter in this game. They give stat bonuses that can basically be infinitely increased. Other things in the game max out, but not officers, so only spend on them if you plan on playing for the long term. Officer power also increases your rocket's damage in tower defense. Officers give boosts, but only when active.
You need to change officers often, and before each “event” starts. Change to both building officers before you build, both recruiting officers before you recruit, etc. For gathering, you only need to change to your gathering officers before the fleet touches the mine, not before you send the fleet. After the “event” is started, you can then change your officers without losing the % boost.
Officers get powerful by increasing the Star level and increasing the officer experience. Again, some things will max out, so don’t invest too heavily into these officers. I recommend not putting any officer experience into anything except for Loreline (because recruiting is awesome) and your war officers. If you want, you can put some into F. Medici to help your build times but I don’t recommend any other.
You are going to put skills on your officers as well to help you get more boosts. Most skills are not needed, but don’t sell them in the exchange store unless you need the Z coins to buy a purple war officer fragment. It is better to craft the ‘gather food’ (or other useless skills) and then break it down for skill book experience. I also don’t put skills on my blue officers since you will get a better boost just switching back to your purple officers and using their boosts. For instance, change to Doc/Hacker to do research and then switch Hacker back to I Medici to get your gathering and processing boosts. The processing boost will (almost) always be better on I Medici than Hacker. Doc and I Medici will be your two war officers while battling because of their breakthrough skills, so I put load capacity on them to gather from enemies quicker.
You can appoint up to 13 officers in the city depending on what level you are. There are 4 types of officers in Age of Origins which are Director, Strategy, Drill Master, and Warfare.
Director Officers boost city activities such as construction speed, research speed, etc.
Strategy Officers boost fleet size, training speed, etc.
Directory Officers and Warfare Officers can increase the attack, defense, HP of troops.
What are the Best Officers in Age of Origins?
The Best Officers in Age of Origins is very simple, all the Purple Officers. Save all the Purple Officers. Why do I say all the Purple are the Best Officers? What makes them the best is what you plan on using them for. Your Warfare Officers you'll need to change and even during an attack. You'll want to start with max fleet size and then when you set out to attack, you'll want to change that to make your hospital as big as you and a higher conversion to wounded instead of dead troops. That's what makes the Best Officer in Age of Origins!
Appointing Officers in Age of Origins
Appoint Officers at the Command Center -> Appoint (you can also do this in the Officer tab too but this is easier). The names and what they do will be confusing at first but you will learn fast. Pro Tip: you need to change your Appointed Officers for EVERYTHING you do whether it is recruiting troops, researching, building, or gathering.
Why do you Change Officers?
There are skills that boost the activity you are doing. You don't need to keep the Officer appointed the entire time, just when you start the activity.
For example: First thing in the morning you wake up, start the game (in bed), and collect your resources. You have timed this perfectly so that your last build and research has just completed. Great! Change your Director Officers to Doc Gray and Hacker for their research skill boost. Now start your next research. Now change your Director Officers to F. Medici and Ginger for their building boost. Now start your next build. Now change your Director Officers to I. Medici and Jesse for their gathering boost. Start gathering but please note the skills only start once the fleet has arrived at the tile. So do this for all activities and I think you get the idea.

How do I recruit officers in Age of Origins?
Recruits officers at the Command Center. There are two types of recruiting, elite and normal. There are 3 free recruits every day which regenerate every 5 minutes. If you are recruiting always, and I mean always recruit officers 10 at a time. It costs 9 recruits so it is a buy 9 and get the 10 for free! Only recruit elite officers or purple officers when there is an event going on.
You can get fragments in various way by completing events, quests, purchasing, zombies and many other ways. Another way is at Distribution Center in the exchange store. Here you can buy fragments. Focus on buying elite officers or purple officers. There are a few blue officers to focus on too (Sergeant Barney, Jesse, and Godfather).
Upgrading Officers in Age of Origins
There are 3 types of upgrades and those are Officer XP, Officer Star Up, and Officer Skill XP/Breakthrough Skill XP.
Officer XP
Officer XP is the easiest. Click the plus button and select how many items and then the confirm button. When you increase the Officer XP this will increase your Officer Skills tool. The max Officer XP level is 55. You can get Officer XP packs from killing zombies, quests, events, etc. How much Officer XP do you get each day?
Officer Star Up
To Star Up your Officer click on the up arrow. There will be a red dot in the top right corner if you have enough fragments. To Star Up your Officer requires officer fragments and each time you Star Up it requires more officer fragments. You will need to Star Up your Officer enough time to fully reach the next level star. Doing this unlocks the Officer Skill. The most complicated part now is which skill do you apply to which Officer and what's the priority?
Officer Skill
Officer Skill is the hardest piece of the Officers and one of the greatest values. At the Command Center -> Officer Skill, opens the skill menu. This breaks down into skill and fuse skill. Let's start with fuse skill first.
Fuse Skill subtab
The fuse skill tab is broken into director, strategy, and warfare skills. You need 10 fragments to fuse a skill and make it available to add to your Officer. When you fuse a skill it is added to your Skill tab.
Skill subtab
The skill tab is broken into director, strategy, and warfare skills as well. You will only see the skills that you have won or have fused together. You can manage your skill here and add to it's level to increase the skill level (I usually do this in the Officer menus) or you can breakdown the skill into fragments and sell/trade them off.
Age of Origins Officer Chart
Everyone plays the game a little differently. The recommendations below are just that, a recommendation. This doesn't mean your gameplay is the same as mine. This isn't a spenders guide.
Officer Types in Age of Origins
There are 3 types of officer colors, green, blue, and purple.
- Green officers are the easiest to get on hero recruit, but they not really needed or used. See Office chart to see if you should sell.
- Blue officers are a fairly easy to get. There are very important Officers to keep. See the Office chart below to see which ones to buy or sell.
- Purple officers are the hardest to get. If you get one, keep it! The bonuses are almost double that of a blue officer. I would almost buy any purple officer. See the Officer chart for which ones I wouldn't buy.
Officer Classification in Age of Origins
There are 4 classifications by function and they are:

- Strategy officers can help you with your fleet size, recruitment time, healing and wounded troops, etc.
