Farm Accounts in Age of Origins - How to Make Farm Accounts
Farm Accounts in Age of Origins are key. If you're reading this site or playing the game you've probably heard of farms. The big question is how to make a farm. Let's jump right in.
Easy Steps to Create a Farm Account in Age of Origins:
- Open the game. Click My Info -> Account. VERY IMPORTANT. Make sure to bind your accounts. Do this with email and Google Play or Facebook. Yes, you need to bind with one of these services. Only binding with email will result in you losing all access to your game. You can only bind 2 Age of Origins accounts/games to 1 Google Play or Facebook account.
- Once you completed binding your account. Click on New Game
- Enjoy your farm! It is as easy as that. You have started a farm.
If you want to switch back to your main account Click My Info -> Account -> Switch Account.
Getting your Resources
To get resources, don't transfer them. You will lose resources this way. Attack your farm but remember to send all your troops to gather first or you will have troop loss in your main account (and farm account depending on hospital size).
Useful Tips
Before going further I think it's best to understand how many farm accounts in Age of Origins you are going to have. Steel farms are essential. You want to rush the farm to city level 15 as fast as you can. Only upgrade what you need to get to city level 15, here are the City Level Requirements for Age of Origins. Focus your development and research on steel. The maximum level farm you need for steel is city level 19 as that opens the 4 queue. I don't personally do this unless I plan to upgrade those to mineral farms. Mineral farms require city level 20. I don't upgrade my farm cities past city level 20.
Daily Tasks for Farm Accounts in Age of Origins
It is up to you how much time you spend on your farm. Remember, it is only a farm. Spend all your time in your main account!
To maximize production you will want to log into your farm 3 times per day. Minimum activities include donating to tech alliance, gathering free recruits (3x daily), gather and collect resources. If you want to focus on officers there are only 2 you want, I Medici & Jesse for their gathering skills.
Upgrading buildings for farm accounts in Age of Origins
Only upgrade what you need to get to the next level but also don't forget about Medic Stations in your farm accounts. Your farms will be attacked and need to have enough hospital space to heal your troops so you can send a full fleet out farming in your farm account!
